Side box for hidden category

Hi



I'd like to be able to set up a side box for a hidden category - ie one that doesn't appear in the categories list. Basically a new ideas list. The problem is that the side box disappears when it only has a hidden category.



I can achieve similar by creating a products sidebar and manually adding each product but being able to do it at the category level would be easier to maintain.



Any thoughts or ideas very welcome.

Just create a categories box and use 'manual' as the filling. If there are active categories in the list you've provided, the block will show those categories. if there are no active categories, then the block will be hidden.
