I think I have made a real mess with all of my shipping/tax settings- where I think now I just need someone to tell me where to start at the beginning.
Here are the criteria for my new online store that I need to configure in my store’s admin:
1- I only ship products to customers in the United States (so I would like all other countries removed completely).
2- I need to charge sales tax for orders shipped to anyone in the state of Illinois. So that needs to be added on to the order total when the customer is shipping to Illinois.
3- I must have a fixed rate shipping cost setup based on order total (no matter what supplier the product is coming from). I charge shipping for the order, and then pay the suppliers individually when I place the dropship order. So I can get away with using one universal shipping charge for my store.
Please let me know what I need to do, or where to start. Any detailed roadmaps would be more than appreciated!

Ok, I am having a similar problem. I thought I set everything up right but I can not get first class postage to show up as an option even if I enable it and put the price based on the weight in.

I’m afraid I’m no help with that. I use a flat rate. I don’t use any of the real-time shipping settings.
