Shipping Settings? I Am Lost !! Please Help ....

Hi,



Please can someone advise me on shipping settings, I have read the cs cart manual but I am still totally lost.



My online shop is based in the UK and I want to set that as my destination, I want to offer a flate rate of £5 delivery to all UK based customers.



I only want to ship to the UK so if anyone tries to ship to an address outside the UK they will need to contact me.



Can anybody help, step by step instructions would be nice !!

You need to set up a UK location. Then set up a Flat Rate shipping method with shipping charges set up as follows:


Cost dependencies
PRODUCTS COST RATE VALUE TYPE
More than £0 5 Absolute


If you disable all other locations, your customers will receive the error message

Please contact us and we will see about delivering to you.[/QUOTE]



You can change this message to as you prefer in Content->Languages - search for “text_no_shipping_methods”.

Log in admin panel go to >> Shipping/taxes >> Locations >> Add location (on right site a button) >> In General write a Name with you Location and then add Country´s also UK with all States from UK. And if you wish you can add Zip/Postal codes, Cities and streets. But i think you dont need the latest three.

where do I add the country and county? as when I move them to the Left it does not work and if i leave them in the right column it still automatically adds all other countries ?

Why can i not get this to work :confused: no matter how I set it up I cannot get it to ship to the UK only !! this is turning into a nightmare !!! :cry:

Yes you must do the Country where the shipping method to include to the left site. And after it you must click on save button. After it you go to shipping methods, with you wished name. Then you can see in it the tab " Shipping charges" in there you can see the choosen country “Show rates for location” and now you can set your rules for the countrys.
