Why isn't the tracking number (shipping) a link when I send it to my customer. Is their something I forgot to tick off in cpanel.

No, it is actually an oversight in the CS-Cart functionality and of course the tracking numbers “should” be linked back to the carrier’s tracking page.
There is a fix or two floating around in the forums for this, I believe from either The Tool or Brandonvd.
