Hi,
I am going crazy trying to setup shipping costs based on a users state.
Victoria (Australia) - $8.95
New South Wales - $9.95
etc
I have setup a shipping method called ‘Victoria’.
A location called victoria
Then set ‘shipping method: Victoria / shipping charges’ to $8.95
But when I try and checkout using an account with a address in Victoria I get the message:
“Warning
Sorry, it seems that we have no shipping options available for your location.
Please check your shipping address and contact us if everything is okay. We’ll see what we can do about it.”
What am I doing wrong?
When I now go into in Locations/edit/Victoria - All countries and states seem to be showing in the left and right panels ??
I changed the value of the suppliers dropdown in ’ shipping method: Victoria / suppliers’. I am now getting a victorian shipping charge on checkout.
can someone please explain this dropdown box and how it works?
I just want to set a flat rate for any products from any suppliers to Victoria, how do I do that?
The way it is, I have to choose a supplier that the user has a product for in the cart for it not to show that error?
Hello adammc,
If a customer buys a product that is assigned to a supplier, the shipping methods assigned to this supplier will be available only. If a customer buys several products from different suppliers, several shipping methods (assigned to the suppliers) will be used in the order. The shipping cost will be summed.
I suggest that you should follow the instructions in the “Setting up the ‘Suppliers’ functionality” article of our Knowledge base: [url]CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation

Thanks for the reply, I got it figured out.
One thing though, How can I give the user a 2nd shipping option called ‘free pickup’ for the location Victoria which = Australia / Victoria which is the same location as the Manual one I added ($8.95)
The $8.95 one seems to overrride it?
Hello adammc,
I suggest that you should create a separate free shipping method for this location. In order to implement it, you should follow the instructions in the “Setting up a free shipping method” article of our Knowledge base: [url]CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation
