Seperate VDS for product images and media

Hi,

I am seperating front, back, mysl VDS servers on a physical server.
I want to seperate the vendor product images to a new S3-like VDS on the same physical server. Later on CDN will work with that server.

I am hoping to optimize backend resources during very high traffic.
Can it be done?

If you’ll be able to mount the disk from your separate server as a soft link to the images/ folder, I assume it will be possible.
