SEO Friendly Site News

I’m new to CS Cart and am mostly impressed by it’s features compared to my current cart. I hope to complete the transition of my main ecommerce site some time next week.

So far, my most desired feature is SEO friendly site news. Why not bring the same SEO friendly options available in products, categories, and pages to the site news? This stuff all gets indexed in the search engines, so the more friendly it is, the better.

I am the SEO manager for my online store. I have found my ranking drop significantly for my most important keywords. I have tried changing the meta tags but I need to add more meta tags than is allowed in the content manager. I need more flexibility with HTML tag coding. The ability to adjust for additional html code is very limited! I need to raise my ranking and can’t because of the limitations with the CMS software offered. Does anyone know how to add meta tags, not just edit the two offered in the template? My PR in Google is 43 and it just can’t stay there. I have tried all other efforts outside of editing the code. ****** Please reply to coriel@graphic-impact.com

Additional tags will drop you rankings even more. Seo does not work as it used to be, pages overloaded with tags gets highest position in serp’s. Most important thing in pages google looks for now is content, unique not duplicate, not copied from somewhere…
