Send buyers straight to checkout from other sites?

I really need some help or suggestions.

Right now, if another site markets one of my products and they click a banner (an affiliate or not), the best I can do is send the potential customer to my product page where they must add the product to their cart and checkout.

I want people who click on specific a banner or url to go straight to the cart's checkout page where the item they want is in their cart, jus waiting to be bought. Can this be done?

I see other sites do this. For example phytodren is a diet pill. The main website phytodren.com promotes the product but when you scroll down to the button and click the BUY NOW banner, you are forwarded to their cart which is at secure.phytodren.com. This page shows the item you want, in the cart, ready to be bought. Their entire site isn't hosted at secure.phytodren.com, it's just for the checkout process.

Right now, I'm finding when people go my product page from other sites, according to Analytics, they start to browse around and check out ABOUT US, etc and I loose their focus. I feel like if I dumped them on the checkout page and was like, “give me billing”, “now me shipping”, and “now the card”, we would complete more orders because it simplifies the process.

If this can be done, I plan on purchasing CS-Cart Ultimate to have a second storefront. On the new storefront, I plan to use it just as a checkout (ie: hide all pages except the cart, terms, privacy policy, contact and order landing page) but I want to make sure CS-Cart can do this.

Hello ckad79,

Thank you for your message.

In this case I suggest that you should edit the created product banner in your CS-Cart admin panel and select the Add to Cart check box in its settings. Please have a look at the screenshot attached to this message.

In this case after you click on the banner, it will add a product to cart and you will be redirected to the cart content page. Please check it.

Thank you.

Is this for version 3 only or version 2.2.x also?

Thank you. It did work!!

BUT do you know why Wordpress does not allow the code that is used to generate the affiliate banners? It erases it and does not like the file?

Hello ckad79,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, I do not know why this issue occurs in your Wordpress installation. I suggest that you should contact a Wordpress specialist and ask him/her about it.

Thank you.

I'll try that. Could you tell me how to make it so that a product graphic banner will take people to the cart when clicked on? I see how to make a product banner but the problem is, the product image does not work for me as a good banner. I have a specific banner that I want to use that says “CLICK HERE TO BUY NOW”.

Thanks.

How are you adding it to Wordpress?

If you are putting the script/banner/etc into a Post or Page, ensure you use [raw] like so:

[raw]

some code here

[/raw]

Much the same as using {literal} tags in CS-Cart.

I did just figured it out, I added and between the script. it works.

I still need to figure out how to make product graphic banners add to cart, as I explained above.

Unfortunately, some PHP code changes are required to be made to implement this feature. You can make them yourself (if you know PHP) or hire a third-party developer (here you can find a lot of offers from CS-Cart developers or consider our custom development service).

Thank you.
