search problem, search function is not good

Hi guys,



I have a problem about the cs-cart storefront search function.

e.g. my product name is digital lcd ir night vision hunting camera. I haven't set any search words at store admin for this product.



When i search ir hunting camera, I get nothing, it says [color=#ff0000]No products found matching the search criteria[/color].

Then i use search options, search this keyword again, this time it shows many pages of results and some not includes any of this keyword.



Find results with:

Search in:

Product name Short description Full description Keywords

Search in category:



Search in subcategories



I try search digital hunting camera, no results too.



I AM QUITE SURE THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM AND NOT GOOD FOR BUYER EXPERIENCE.

I wonder how to solve this problem???

I checked with zen-cart, prestashop, no this problem at all.

Why CS-CART search is not working?

By default cs-cart's search is set to exact phrase. This works for some shops but I agree it should not be the default setting.
