Sales Tax - Multivendor Edition

I recently purchased the multivendor edition of CS-CART. LOVE it so far. It rocks. The only thing that is still a bit confusing to me is sales tax. It appears that there isn’t any way to set up sales tax by vendor, is that correct? And if so, for any of you based in the U.S. how are you handling this with your vendors? Are you requiring them to build sales tax into their price and if so, how are they calculating this?
