Ok, need some help with a little issue. When I have a customer return an item, I create the return from the order detail screen. Works fine. I can then automatically generate the gift certificate. Wonderful… IF it is not a local customer. My problem is, when it is a local customer who paid sales tax, the system does not apply the sales tax to the item to create the amount of the return. I have to manually edit the gift certificate before issuing it. Am I missing something or is this a bug and I need to reach out to tech support for a fix?
