I'm looking at buying CS-Cart. My developer is recomending installing V3.06 - the last (stable) version especially if I'm considering a Responsive template. He has had a couple of clients upgraded to V4 only to move them back to V3 when too many bugs were encountered.
Has anyone had experience with a responsive template in V4? If it was a positive experience, can you provide a link so I can see it on phone/tablet/computer screens.
Also, any example sites using a responsive template on V3.x would be a big help too.

Both CS-Cart v.3.0.x and CS-Cart 4.0.x are good to work with if we talk about responsive template creation. But as for functionality part, CS-Cart v.3.0.x is more stable, I agree.
You can check this website done by us - shopmarijuana.com. First, we created a responsive template for this website when it was based on CS-Cart 3.0.x, then, the site was upgraded to CS-Cart 4.0.x. and responsive template wasn't broken, we've just polished some minor issues.
