Rename A Theme Folder?

Hi there,

Is it possible to change the folder referenced in the database of a particular theme? So for example you have the folders:

design/themes/old_theme/

design/themes/new_theme/

Then in your Design page on the backend you're using "Site theme" which maps to old_theme/

I now want "Site Theme" to be reading from new_theme/ so I can retain my layouts etc.

Just select the new theme as the active theme.

But what is your goal id having a separate theme name? What are you trying to accomplish? Do you understand that an upgrade will most likely (without other actions) overwrite any changes you make?
