We are finishing up evaluation of 2.0.14 version and will probably go live in 1-2 weeks. In general I would never go live with any .0 version including 2.1.0. I would typically wait for 2.1.1 or even better 2.1.2. We don’t have any history with CS-Cart though. Should we go out with latest 2.0.x version or go ahead with 2.1.?
You really should wait for the next maintenance release promised by the end of this month before going live. I do recommend buliding your new store on the 2.1.0 model though because, the required updates to the newer release will require minimal template related updates. Going from 2.0.14 to 2.1.1 will be much more drastic.
