Receive notification of new affiliates

I am setting up an affiliate campaign. However, I am not receiving any email or notification when a new affiliate registers for an account. It doesn't automatically get approved either; I have to manually approve it and manually set its plan.



Is there some way to either

  • automate the approval / plan setting process
  • receive a notification when a new affiliate needs to be approved

I posted a thread a few weeks back about sending an email to admin that describes how to do this in a std store. not sure if t will work in multi vendor or not.



I cant find it at the moment though
