Pull-down menu with categories in Search

Hi all,



In the Central block, I added a new block with content: Search and wrapped it with mainbox_search.tpl



The new block (search) appears in the page but lacks the pull-down menu with the categories. It only shows the field where one writes the query and the “go” button.



In Search.tpl there is a line:

{if !$settings.General.search_objects}

which controls if the pull-down menu will be shown or not



I wonder if there is something in the Admin area which controls that “if” statement, which I apparently missing…



Any help anyone?

I have similar issue, we already have a search bar, but would like a Search (all Categories) with Drop down menu like the demo site panel! Any help grateful.
