I am currently using MVE. My understanding is that the promotion discounts are distributed between the marketplace and the sellers in the same percentage than the sellers plan. For example, if the order discount is $10, and the marketplace commissions is 20%, then $2 are discounted from the marketplace and $8 are discounted for the seller.
Is there a way to change this? For example, have all discounts be paid by the marketplace, or by the seller?
Better yet, would it be possible to have a setting in each promotion to specify who pays for the discounts? This is because some promotions should be paid entirely by the marketplace, but others should be paid entirely by the seller.
There is nothing like this as standard. We did something like this when integrating with payments, when money was distributed automatically to vendors. Then, regardless of accounting, in Multi-Vendor we added options on how promotions should be settled between sellers and the market place owner. For us it looks something like this:
This is an add-on to Przelewy24 payments and it is one of the options of this add-on. As I wrote, it is independent from accounting in Multi-Vendor.
