The add-on brings social-network-style stories to a CS-Cart storefront: a row of circles with promotions, new arrivals and store news. A tap opens full-screen slides with a button leading to a product, a category, a page or any address. Shoppers know the format from Instagram and Telegram and watch it more willingly than yet another banner.
- Stories are shown by a layout block — on the home page under the menu, in the catalog, on the product page. The block shows all active stories or hand-picked ones, with configurable circle size, captions and alignment. Unviewed stories carry a colored ring, viewed ones turn grey and move to the end of the row; once a story is updated, it looks new again.
- On a phone the viewer opens full screen: a tap on the right or left pages through slides, holding pauses, a sideways swipe switches stories, a swipe down closes. On a computer it is a vertical card in the middle (or full screen) with arrow buttons and keyboard control. After the last slide the next story starts by itself, and looping can be switched on.
- Every story has a cover, its own ring color, a display period and customer groups: a promotion appears and disappears on the right dates by itself. A slide is a vertical picture, a heading, a text and its position, a link, the button text and colors, and a display duration. All texts are translatable into every store language.
- For a quick start — four demo stories with slides in English and Russian in one click, handy as examples. A similar story does not have to be built from scratch: a clone is created disabled, with all slides and pictures.
- Statistics: opens, completions and clicks for every story, and views, clicks and CTR for every slide, so you can see which offers work and which are due for replacement. The counters can be reset before a new campaign.
Works with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor from version 4.3.1, in the CS-Cart, CS-Cart Ultimate, Multi-Vendor, Multi-Vendor Plus and Multi-Vendor Ultimate editions. The storefront templates are for the Responsive theme and themes based on it, nothing has to be added to the theme by hand. In Ultimate stories and settings are kept per storefront.
