Product Variations And Promotion

I'm trying to set promotions on specific product variation. So I added the variations in the product in rule of the promotion.

But it doesn't show up when I navigate to the variation. It only works when I apply it to the whole product.

Is there a bug about it or is there something special we need to do ?
