The web website search function appears to be working the wrong way round as it were. The more you type, the more pages are found. I would have thought the more your typed the narrower the search?

Try to change 'Any of these words' to 'All of these words'.

cscartrocks is right, this suggestion might help you. In order to implement it for the quick search field in the storefront you should follow instructions of the following Knowledge base article:



http://kb.cs-cart.co…k-search-by-all



If you use the Advanced search page (like this one http://demo.cs-cart…products.search), you should just change the value in the Find results with drop-down list to All of these words.

The advanced search form in the latest cs-cart version is not supporting search by product features.

Can you explain how to enable cs-cart to search product features either in default search or in advanced search.

In order to search products by features on the Advanced search page you should click on the advanced link in the block with product filters. For example, open this page http://demo.cs-cart…al/electronics/ , find the Product Filters block and the advanced link at the bottom of this block.



Or you can simply add the following: advanced_filter=Y to the URL of the Advanced search page. So it will look as follows (e.g.):



http://demo.cs-cart…vanced_filter=Y

This addon will allow you to search/filter products by features on the search results page:
