looking for some advice as to how I can speed up my product page… currently in the 6 to 8 second range… too slow…

Remove the video. Add a link to it instead. If that doesn't work try removing the scroller at the bottom.



Also, when I load the page it seems to hang for a few seconds while it loads the Comment section.

and click on the timeline, you can see the external elements that are draging down your site



Interesting, Because you are not using ssl login, it's calling the captcha for login multiple times per page load



Looks like the major culprit is Live chat adding 2.8 seconds
