We are looking to sell food items that needs to be denoted as Gluten-Free, Sodium-Free, Yeast-Free, Kosher, etc. I need to be able to create a master file of the different classifications as above and then have it in the ‘add product’ page in the admin and then just add it to each product as needed and then be able to display those icons in the product list for each product.
I sure hope that I made myself clear. If not please ask for more info. Any and all help will be appreciated.

No I not achieved it. It looks like it will be a mod. Will continue to look for a way that is affordable and will post the result as soon as I find one.
And you can do the same as well if you find a way to even get close to achieving the above.
