Hi there.
I was wondering if somebody could give me some advice.
I have 150 bags. All the bags are the exact same except the price and weight are different. I basically want to have one product called ‘bags’ and when you select it in a drop down the 150 bags are displayed.
I have already added the 150 bags as separate products.
Is there anyway to create a category or something with all the products in it shown as a dropdown.
I’m a bit confused. Is this possible.
Thanks very.

The way to do it would be 1 Product with options!
Hi.
Thanks for the reply.
How can I set the first product as zero instead of adding the options on each time?
Everything I set it as zero it says please contact us for more information.

Not quite sure I understand, but if you mean the price, then set to zero on the product general page.
You will need a price though really so as the options work correctly
Hi Barry
Thanks for the reply.
When I set the price of the product to zero and add in options the product page says Please contact for price.
Whenever I add a price to the bags product for example £1 and add in another bag in the options at 50p it totals it up as £1.50.
The other problem is I also have added over 100 variants of bag. Is there anyway I can merge them into one bag product and show the options as a dropdown?

Yes this is how it works. add product at say £1.00 then add option 1 at say £0.50 then it will display as £1.50 so make the initial product the cheapest and add additional price in the options. So cheapest £0.50 next is £0.75 so in it’s option add £0.25 and so on

Yes make one product and then go in to it’s options and add them, you can have them display as a drop down.
Hi Barry
Thanks for the reply again. Much appreciated.
Are there any other ways to do this? I have added over 100 bags and to start changing the prices would be a nightmare.

No I think this is the only way.
If you use the cheapest one you’ve added, then in option create size then it won’t take long to add the variants
