I have more products in 1 category, so it has to be listed by pages. Product filters work only at first page. After using product filter at other pages, only blank (empty) category is shown.

we had the same problem. our problem was:
a product on category 1 (with 100 products) if i go to page 2 on category page then when i select the product filter for the a product page opens in blank.
if you have the problem its because of ajax.
without ajax the link has page number and the filter shows as the first page. so there is a bug. we enabled ajax on pagination and it solved our problem.
