Product Code field as a hyperlink

Hello Everyone,



I would like to be able to use hyperlinks to products that specify the Product Code rather than the Name field



e.g. Instead of this - http://www.landscaping.co.uk/chelsea-box-55cm.html

I would like to use one of these (these links don't work but are for an example only)

http://www.landscaping.co.uk/38502/ or http://www.landscaping.co.uk/38502.html



Does anyone know if this is possible? The reason I ask is we want to use QR Codes / Barcodes in our Plant Centre so clients can scan the code from the point-of-sale and either get more information on the product, add to a wishlist or buy online.

Use the SEO add-on and enter the product code for the SEO name. Or you could make it easier by modifying the code to generate the SEO name from the product code instead of the product name.

Very little info for their mods… Not even version compatible.
