This is really good when you can filter with category when the user searches for a product. this is on my list to buy, thanks!
hash tag in the url, I have seen some SEO for this to convert, I can't remember that add-on now, but power-cart or alexbranding, not sure those add-on can work with this your add-on? have you ever experienced this? Thanks!

I think yes, seo should not be affected by our module
I purchased this addon but it doesn't work on the category page, the whole tree is show alphabetically instead of showing the selected category on top and then others below it.
example of how it should be:

shop all categories
-cellphones

But this is what happens on the cs cart category page

Looks like you need block with categories tree instead of filter by categories
Both of them don't do the thing i illustrated

Can you make your addon to do the above illustration, on the block with categories tree? let it filter the block with categories tree
At the moment we do not have plans to build such a module. But we will discuss it
