Problems with my logo css, png, explorer 6 and other stuff

Hi lads

I´m just having problems with my shop design maybe one of you can give me a hand with this.

I´m using an AUSTERE design of CS-CART 2.0.4 my problem start when I decide to start designing my logo I based it on a png format but I got surprised when I opened it with a Internet explorer 6, background is not transparent as it should.

I thought it was fixed with the css included in cs-cart 2.0.4.

After this, because I dont have any idea of css or html, I decided to build it with a .GIF format , but when I did it and check the website I got surprised again, It SHOW 2 LOGOS AT THE SAME TIME. I´m still looking for if there´s a cache in the admin panel like 1.3.5 BUT i DIDNT FIND ANY.

I´m changing the logos via admin panel in the LOGOS section, I dont know what to do because quite strange.

I hope some of you can give me a hand, now I have coloured the background like the original background and I have no problems in the home page , but in the error pages it looks very ugly because the color background page is white and my logo has got the color of the home page background which is a soft GREY.

Any solution lads?

Thousend Thanks!!!

Can we have a url for the site?

the URL is http://www.cabquimicas.es

but because the logo appears double I have just leave the PNG one but if I choose from admin panel the GIF(transparent background) logo it appears twice.

I´m going to upload the GIF one right now and I´m going to get a Print screen

Well I cant leave the logo like this so I have printed the screen and here it is how the logo looks like.

I have noticed after various tries … it fails depending the format of the GIF, it keeps the older logo and put the new oneover the older, and you are supposed to choose the new one from de admin panel.

the code doesnt support some GIF formats, conflicts between css and GIF formats?

Thanks

Does anyone know what GIF formats the cart DOES support? I’m am trying to modify the Toy Store skin for a client and whenever I modify the original supplied GIF and upload it to the images folder, it does not show up on the page. I have tried everything I can think of and have not been able to track down why this is happening. I am using Photoshop CS4 to modify the GIFs. Help much appreciated.

I found I had to go back to Photoshop CS2 in order to create GIFs that work. I guess that’s OK but a little inconvenient.

All gif’s I used seems to be working well. Not sure where’s the problem…

Are you using Photoshop CS4 (aka version 11)?

Maybe this only applies to the Toy Store skin?

I am using toy store skin. Image created with PS CS3 10.

OK, so it must be a Photoshop CS4 issue then.
