Presenting A Lightning-Fast And Enduring Cs-Cart Demo With 200,000 Products

Honestly I don’t feel any difference or improvement in the speed between http://highload.demo.cs-cart.com/ and http://demo.cs-cart.com/ the speed of both sites is acceptable (sometimes even slow…) but not “very fast”

Looks like you're too far from the servers. Please open the console and run the "ping -c 10 highload.demo.cs-cart.com" command and post its results here.

Will this work on later versions, such as CS-Cart 4.4.2?

Alexander, can you please update the articles and documents about CS-Cart speed? Some of the information is not up to date.

For instance:

-Is "Full Page Cache" addon is being maintained? Is it compatible with 4.4.x?

-Do you still recommend APCu for backend cache? Most of the articles were written for PHP 5.6. PHP 7.x has lots of new features.

-Do you recommend Varnish? Is Varnish stable with CS-Cart?

Your response would be appreciated.

Man, when CS-Cart abandons stuff, they completely kill it and completely ignore even taking 5 minutes to give response. You guys were huge on performance and kept bragging about it for months and now you don't even respond to our questions about performance.

If I can say anything with CS Cart in the few months developing a large system it is that you either need;

a) Lots of time to learn the structure of CS Cart add ons and then hooks etc to develop yourself

b) Lots of money and patience to work with some of the CS Cart 'Authorised resellers' or Simtech themselves

c) Find the answers on your own as it will always come with a price as every other typical 'should be in CS Cart function' is surprisingly a charged 'extra' even security add ons.

Hi,

I've answered about further full-page cache addon maintenance here: http://forum.cs-cart.com/topic/45359-full-page-cache-addon/#entry269963

Yes, APCu is still the fastest cache container. However, Redis is much more scalable (APCu can't be scaled at all).

Which articles and PHP7 features do you mean?
