Closed site with no registrations defeats the purpose of having prices displayed.
Different pricing is available upon ‘memberships’
Best sellers, event, and most other modules can be removed.
removing manufactuerers just requires a one line edit from main.tpl.

Hello,
1- Yes, you have only to put a line in “price.tpl” template to check for $auth variable (1 minute to do);
2- Yes, you can assign membership to customer with different discount level;
3- No (you can apply a password to site directory by editing .htaccess, but user and pw will be the same for all visitors);
4- Yes, you can do it;
