We have released a new update for PowerApp. In this release, the main focus is on notifications and marketing communications within the mobile application.

Below is a detailed overview of what’s new.

Unified Notification Center

A unified notification center has been implemented in the application, where all events sent to the user are now collected in one place.

Previously, push notifications could be lost after being closed. Now users can always return to received messages directly inside the app.

What this solves:

  • all notifications are stored in one place;
  • users can open notifications later;
  • increases the probability of repeat visits;
  • marketing messages continue to work even if a push notification was missed.

The notification center becomes a permanent communication channel with users rather than a one-time push message.

Promotional Push Campaigns

We have added a full-featured mass push notification tool with flexible audience targeting and management directly from the CS-Cart admin panel.

In practice, this creates a separate marketing channel inside the mobile application.

Audience Segmentation

Campaigns can be configured using more than 30 user and behavioral parameters.

Segmentation examples:

  • last order date;
  • average order value;
  • number of orders;
  • last app launch date;
  • user activity;
  • new users;
  • inactive users;
  • customers who purchased from specific categories;
  • and many other parameters.

This allows not only mass campaigns but also highly targeted messaging. For example:

  • re-engage users who haven’t opened the app for a long time;
  • send offers only to active customers;
  • remind high-value customers about your store.

Push Notifications for Non-Authorized Users

Push notifications can now be sent to users who installed the app but have not logged into an account.

This is an important scenario, as a significant portion of installations does not immediately result in authorization. Now these users can be brought back into the app through marketing messages.

Multilingual Campaigns

Multilingual support has been added.

The system automatically sends notifications in the user’s app language. Administrators can configure texts for multiple languages within a single campaign without creating separate ones.

Images and Deep Links Support

Push notifications and messages in the notification center now support:

  • images;
  • custom redirect links.

Links can lead to:

  • a product;
  • a category;
  • a specific app screen;
  • an external URL.

This allows push notifications to be used as a полноценный promotional tool rather than simple text alerts.

Admin Panel Management

All campaign management is performed directly from the admin panel:

  • link configuration;
  • scheduling.

No additional services or third-party systems are required.

Scheduled Campaigns

Scheduled sending has been added.

Administrators can create campaigns in advance and specify the exact date and time of delivery. This is useful for:

PowerApp: Dark Mode and Flexible Color Customization

We’re happy to announce a small but very important update to our PowerApp mobile application. We have introduced Dark Mode — a feature many of you have been waiting for. After receiving numerous requests, we decided to implement it ahead of schedule: you asked — we delivered.

Why Dark Mode Matters

1. Eye comfort.
Dark Mode reduces eye strain during long usage sessions and is especially useful in low-light environments (evenings and nighttime). Using the app in such conditions becomes more comfortable and enjoyable.

2. A modern standard.
Today, many mobile operating systems and applications already support dark themes, and users expect this functionality by default. Dark Mode support makes the application feel modern and aligned with your customers’ habits.

3. Energy efficiency.
On smartphones with OLED displays, Dark Mode can actually reduce battery consumption, extending device usage time. This is particularly important for active users, where every extra minute of battery life matters.


Color Settings from the Admin Panel

Along with Dark Mode, we have fundamentally changed the way the application’s appearance works. Interface colors are no longer hardcoded into the app — they are now loaded from the server via the CS-Cart admin panel.

In simple terms, this means you can now configure the app’s color scheme directly from your store’s admin panel, without modifying the application itself.

This solution immediately solved two important challenges:

1. Different storefronts — different colors.
If you run a multi-store setup with several storefronts combined into one mobile application, you can now assign each storefront its own unique color style.

2. Instant design updates.
You no longer need to rebuild and republish the application in the App Store or Google Play when changing colors or branding. Simply update the colors in the admin panel, and users will see the changes instantly — without waiting for store moderation.


What’s Next

The introduction of Dark Mode and dynamic color settings is only the first step toward large-scale mobile app customization. Our goal is to provide flexible interface configuration directly from the admin panel, without the need to involve developers.

We want every store owner to be able to create a truly unique application design and adapt it fully to their brand and business needs.
