Possible to use as virtual terminal?

I have a client who has a CS-Cart based store using the Authorize.net payment gateway.

This person is going to a conference next week and will be selling CDs of the conference sessions. These CDs will not be added to the store…people will order the CD as they leave a particular conference session.

Is there a way to set up CS Cart to act like a virtual terminal to collect credit card payments? e.g. person A wants to buy CDs from three of today’s sessions. Is there a way to charge for these without setting them up as products in the cart?

I don’t know of any way to set up CS-Cart to do this, but you could just login to Authorize.net and use that virtual terminal.

The other possible option would be to set up a generic product called “confrence cd” and then just stay logged in, add the product, and checkout. Each time you checkout you would use a different credit card number, but you wouldn’t have to go through the entire checkout process since you are already logged in.

It’s probably a bit late, but you could set up the products as “hidden” and just add an order as usual, so that you can track the orders, etc.

Yeah, I’m probably late as well. However, I have an option called Phone Order and Local Sale in my CS-Cart store so all the transactions go through the site. (easier to keep track of)

Is this built in? I just bought the CS cart from here.

You can set up your payment options in admin, select new payment option and call it pay by telephone or whatever and fill in the parameters you want.

Thanks man!
