I have been working on this for days and still no Joy. I have 2.0.15 and 2.1.1 installed. The below is working fine on 2.0.15 but not playing ball on 2.1.1
Here goes:
Ok its all to do with inventor tracking.
2.0.15 =
If i set my products to “0” quantity. My site states that the item is out of stock however, the “customer” can still buy this product.
The settings for this are:
Enable Inventory tracking = CHECKED
Allow negative amount … = CHECKED
Inventory = tracked without options
2.1.1 =
The exact same setup as 2.0.15 and i get product is out of stock however,no matter what is in stock, it just says out of stock. No one knows if its in stock or not.
if i tweek the above settings like this on 2.1.1:
Enable Inventory tracking = CHECKED
Allow negative amount … = [COLOR=“Red”]UNCHECKED[/COLOR]
Inventory = tracked without options
Now the “Add to cart” button is hidden if the quantity is set to “0”

i have the same problem, the words out of stock appears but the client can add to the products to the cart., i upgrade to 2.0.15 to 2.1.1
It started happening out of no where. I am not sure where to look in the bug tracker. Using 2.1
