we sell small engine parts and accessories chainsaw parts etc. currently we do not have a live help feature but we have a link to our sister site which is where we have a live chat linked to
but if you can visit our store let me know how it looks if it is user friendly what can be done to make it much nicer to navigate etc.

actually i looked at the manage ads and strange thing is it only shows one " symbol cause when folks click on that link it takes them to the live help where i have the live help at so i guess it may be from the color i choose that is very possible
how do i use the live help graphic ?
forgot to say some catagories have no parts in them i am aware of that already
but am working on to get at least a couple products in them subs

My personal opinion would be take 1 catagory at a time and complete it,there are bits missing everywhere get onto your suppliers and get decent images or borrow them from other sites.

under manage ads----> Edit
ONLY the URL should be in the text box…no quotes. The software adds the quotes .
The only entry into the URL box should be
http://www.cmsmallengines.org/?page_id=10
To use the graphic, just save it to your local computer, give it a name (live_chat_graphic.jpg) or something…
then upload it the same place you have the text (under manage ads —>edit)
switch ad “type” to banner

Put your home link in your header giff on your lookup pages, and move home page to the top of catagories in them too

thanks mike i figureed it out how to get it to work right now the image shows up i think that image shows some color too
we are actually still using 1.3.4 sp 3 im waiting on the 1.3.5 sp 3 to come out so i can make the background a carolina blue color scott has promised me he make that change but we are waiting on the next update package to come out
i seem to not have any problems with color as i know of now i may make the text dark blue instead of black it may help some
one more suggestion
open the live help browser (page) in a new window (tick off the checkbox under edit)
keeps your existing page open without having to reload…

Go to back end, modules top RH corner, affiliates system, disable Affiliate add-on.

I’ld suggest getting a graphics designer to “pimp” your site.
Logo image is extremely small, the welcome header doesn’t look too flash.
Small things can have a big turn around
Otherwise it’s looking sweet
due to security issues i had to take and close the live help i wish i can find a live help feature that works fine and without security issues i wish cs cart can fix there live help module from a beta version to a good version

We use http://www.phplivesupport.com, you can buy an owned license for $89.95, not a bad deal, it’s alot more advanced then Cs’s version and personally CS should never have gotten into the business of live help, it was a waste of there time when people could use a great product like PHP Live when CS could have been more focused on adding teh features to CS that customer have really been asking for, like a helpdesk, knowbase/faq, ect…

if i went with this snorocket is it better than help center live free livehelp or craftysyntex if i went with this what are the features i mean can it be displayed on the main site just like cs live help was cause if this is true i can actually and do i need to be online i mean have a browser window open or is it a program on the desktop of the computer that is up and running when i go online ?
these other ones i have to have a browser up and that can get tiresome after while

with PHP Live they have a small windows app that runs in the background and will pop up when someone requests live help, so no you don’t have to have a browser open all the time, you don’t even have to be on your website at all, you can install the app on your laptop and respond from anywhere that has wifi access ect…
for some strange reason orders have slowed down tremendously i know i have some sub cats without products what i might do is put at least two in each of them so it wont say no products found in this category
what i need to do is figure out how to promote my store to locals in my area cause they would save tons if they used me instead of the john deere dealer down the road
i notice alot of online stores have cheaper prices than me if i go under them i will not make a cent so what do i do you all ?
im kind of sadden because no one will help me get my store upgraded from 1.3.14 sp 3 to a new skin carolina blue color and a new look and faster site at loading times i also want to change some images but i am not a computer programmer or designer i dont know what to do to upgrade to next level
