Please implement schema.org microdata to CS-Cart 4

As CS-Cart 4 is coming out soon, please implement schema.org microdata to the front end pages. This will increase usability and SEO.



This should be fairly easy to implement.

Unfortunately, we are not planning to implement it in the next CS-Cart release. Implementing such feature is not as easy as it seems at first sight. Yet, I suggest that you should add your suggestion to our Uservoice:

The detailed information and explanation why this feature is important and needs to be implemented will help it to earn more votes and probably be among the top features that might be added to CS-Cart.

Dear Pavel.

Basically this request is to apply htm5 microdata, which supercedes html4.

I thought you were no longer using uservoice, as most of the popular requests are not implemented and the new features do not come from uservoice. Am I mistaken?

ebay has been on there for oh years probably since you first started using uservoice, you have only just started to implement that ( I'm still unsure that will ever see the light of day) however schema is a something we cannot navigate around



IE without the ebay integration users could just waste more of their time working manually however, we cannot sticky tap a solution for applying schema to our cs cart sites.



As Google and the other search engines place more importance on this over time then CS Cart site owners will fall further and further behind. If the case is the same as it was with the ebay module it takes years of broken promises before any action is started on schema, then I am afraid it will be to late. A lot of businesses will have either left cs cart or dropped so far off googles front pages they wont be able to pay you for update access.



As per usual I expect this plea to fall on deaf ears and no action to be taken, I imagine we will instead get some new buttons that slide very nicely on the admin panel.

Which version of CS-Cart will this be? CS Cart 4.2?

Or will another major version of CS-Cart be released? i.e. CS-Cart 5?

Is this planned anytime soon?



It seems to me that this update will break all styes. Is this correct?
