My client wants the cart to be pickup only and on the shipping page the customer can select which day and time bracket they will be coming in to get their goods. Is this possible with the current system or do I need to find someone to write a module to get this to happen?

Although you can set up “pickup” as the option but this calendar type is not a std feature of the cart.
