The upgrade to 2.07 went smooth but when upgrading to 2.80 got this error

I have checked permissions but cannot find the problem?
Any ideas?
You need to recheck your permissions.
When trying to go to your site this is what I get
“File is writable by others, please fix permissions and try again.”
CS Support has their fingers in it today looking at the problem
This has been resolved…wrong permissions on the upgrade folder…
