Here is a Permalink for Product Page for CSC 2.0:



1 - Edit this file:



/skins/[Your Skin]/customer/views/products/[COLOR=“Blue”]view.tpl[/COLOR]



2 - Find this code:

3 - Change it with:

More excellent ideas Lee Li but I think this is more of how it is supposed to be:

EDIT: You probably had it correct Lee Li (with a couple of exceptions). For some reason the url code was removed using the code tags. I had to use the PHP tags to retain the code.

For all that C&Ped Lee Li's code, you need to replace it with this one.

First that’s a pretty ****py definition for permalink and no my article is not about permalinks. Nor is about installing url rewrites. I was trying to simply explain how to get the permalinks working for CS-Cart. I talked about how to do this both on Wamp & on a hosted server but I am sure you have read the article and maybe just misread it.



All I have done on this forum is to try to help others, but I see that I am not welcome by a Senior Member. Just to let you know permalinks is not a tool and not does it help you get free backlinks.



Why would you even suggest something so random as installing locally on Ubuntu. This has no value in this thread.
