Paypal Timing Out

Hi

We have had a couple of occassions when our customers get this (or similar) at paypal payment gateway............................

"Gateway Timeout
The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server.
Reference #1.97ff4317.1448978539.8d2ce7f "

We can't seem to find any issues with the cart and most customers don't have a problem.

Has anyone any suggestions please?

Might contact PayPal. It could be an internal issue since they reference a proxy server.

Thanks for the reply.

We had done some searching (google) and found that several people have had similar issues which turned out to be a Paypal problem.

Will contact them and post their response.
