Paypal Standard. All Paid Orders Showing As 'open'.

Cart Version 4.3.9

There has been no modification to our cart.

For the past month all PayPal paid orders are showing status as 'Open'.

I have to check for IPN's from PayPal or login to PayPal to confirm payment

and then manually mark the order as 'Processed'.

Up until this point orders would always show as 'Processed'.

Does anyone know if PayPal have changed their procedure ?

Looks like IPN is not configured correctly. Please make sure that the "Do not receive IPN messages" option is not enabled in PayPal dashboard

"Do not receive IPN messages" option is enabled but this is odd because the PayPal email address

used in CS-Cart is the same used for eBay payments and I do receive IPN's for eBay payments.

If I enable "Receive IPN messages" a URL is required.

Would this be the domain name used for my CS-Cart ?

Since CS-Cart transfers URL for IPN, try to put any value in the dashboard and test the result

I will leave all as is for now.

There is no good reason for the process to change as I have made

no changes at all to my CS-Cart script.

It appears that the latest version of CS-Cart doesn't have this problem.

I will just wait until I upgrade one day.

Maybe not. $160 upgrade subscription is almost 1/2 the cost of a new cart.
