When a customer pays with paypal, me and him or her are getting 2 notification emails, one stating that the order is open and the next one processed, this causes that some customers don't know what is the correct order status, if open or processed.
I looked and tried already to change the Paypal payments addon but this behaviour seems to have nothing to do with the addon, maybe it's related to a delayed response from PayPal, I don't know.
Does anyone knows if this is solvable, I mean, if I can stop the first "open" email to be sent to the customer when paying with paypal? (and it's not an option to untick the "notify customer" for the Open status as I use it also for another payment method).
A wonderfull person at CSC helpdesk gave me the solution, for anyone that has the same problem with getting two email's for paypal payments you can ask them as the solution may depend on the software version.
