My customers are not receiving any mails when they request for password using their “FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD” feature. This issue started all of a sudden and it working fine before. What could be the issue

It may be your server problem, please check up if mail function is working properly.
Also attentively check up your email settings in admin panel.

am using "via php mail function" but no email is sent when orders are placed or when tried to recall forgotten passwords and I always get this error
