Currently once an order is paid, it goes to status “Processing” which is green.
Well we added a few other statuses. The final status that the orders stay in is either “Shipped” or “Picked Up”. But these statuses are blue and don’t seem to contribute to the ‘Total Paid’. This probably causes issues with other statistics as well.
How can we mark those as finalized statuses that contribute to what’s been paid?
You can’t. This has been discussed before. Ideally, we should be able to specify for each order status the “workflow status” - that is, the logical status as it relates to the internal cart operation. This would address this issue.
The only solution currently available is to change the name of your ‘C’ status to “Shipped” and use it for any completed order. Is it really necessary to show that an order is picked up rather than shipped in the status?

Not really. But we do have a actual retail store / show room. Some people buy off the site then come in to pick it up, it happened once . Also the site stats show how many items are in what status, so we could see a nice donut chart of shipped vs pickup. It’s also quick to identify when looking at the orders.
I’m working in the back room in here:
And this is half of the front inside room:
If only my ‘office’ (cubicle) looked more like the front room…
Nice showroom.
