Order Placed, But Makes 7+ Order #'s for Single Order

Say I am on order 2000…when someone places an order for a single item, itll assign it order #2000…but then it will duplicate the order for 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 etc. Anyone happen to know why it is doing this? I am getting 7 different order emails from the same person for just a single order, all with the next order # in line. Thanks

How many of them are approved or declined order statuses?

They claimed they are just placing a single order

I had a problem with this happening in the past, it was the php handler on the server, try contacting your hosting provider to see if they can resolve it.

Thanks. Another thing ive noticed is if I dont get multiple emails with multi order numbers, ill get a couple with the same order # from the same person.

Ok it seems to be only happening when someone is using Google Checkout, and they are coming anywhere from 1-8 minutes apart.

I just noticed, when I log into google checkout and look at an order there, it also assigned it several order numbers from my site, for every single order.
