Order Communication: New Message Received - Wrong Language

Hi,

we recently noticed that when a vendor reaches out to a customer, the email that's being sent to the customer & vendor is always sent in German, no matter what language they have set as preferred in their profile.

Order updates and RMA messages are all sent in the respective languages.

I should add that we have a multilingual marketplace with English, French & German - English being the default language.

We also tried whether it has to do with the language set in the vendor profile, but this also does not seem to have any effect on the email.

does anyone know where we can check whether the ['lang_code'] is set up properly?

We are using v. 4.13.2.

I had this with some customers. The language setting was just being ignored. Weird thing is with 99.9% of the customers it worked fine.

This is very interesting, I did some tests and created a new customer account and it seems to be exactly how you describe it. Messages get sent in the correct language.

Did you ever find a fix for it, or find out what caused it?
