Optional promotions for customer?

Hi



I am wondering whether it is possible to offer a customer a promotion at checkout (e.g. spend over £x, get a free xyz), and have for example a checkbox next to it, so they tick it if they wish to have that promotion, or clear it if they don’t?

When they get it for free, why they must tick it?

For my thinking, i give them something for free or not, but why the customer should choose it?

I see your point, some of the businesses I am supplying to may not have the space, or may not be bothered.

Anyway, I only offer free items if the customer places an order at least a certain time before the day they request delivery, and I think this will be a problem to do!
