Okay so what I really need is a way to zoom in on the option variant image thumbnails. I would love if there could be a way to make it a lightbox, like the way the fabrics are shown here:

But if there is a way to enlarge the thumbnails in any way that would work too.

You may use option combinations and upload the large image for each combination. This way you will have popup image when you select the option.
