One coupon per customer then dont allow to use again

I give a 10% coupon code to all visitors who optin to my mailing list. I have some customers that use the coupon all the time. I’d like a feature that sets limits on coupon usage by customer so I can still send out the same coupon code but only allow one order per address for that coupon.

There is a setting in the “Conditions” tab of a promotion. You can select: “Number of Usages” and set it to “1” (atleast in CS-Cart 2.0.12+).

If the coupon code is the same that all customers receive when signing up to my mailing list, will it stop others from using it? Or does this setting only it to be used once per customer?
