No JavaScript - CS Cart becomes lame

Just filed a bug: http://forum.cs-cart.com/vbugs.php?do=view&vbug_id=1912

Point is, those customers that for whatever reason do not have JS on, have UNPREDICTABLE experience with CS-Cart. Why? I think because CS-Cart was built with JS in mind.

While it is evident that CS-Cart team was trying to make it work without JS, still, it looks unfinished at best.

Why such a hysteria? Well, we are replacing a site that comes from old tech that was not dependent on JS as it was a norm many years ago. That site is solid, JS or no JS.

Thus, we don’t know if our current customers will get lost along the way of switching the website engines…

What are your thoughts on JS-less potential customers and their experience with your stores?

Non-JS does not work properly and the developers are aware that it is an issue:

Hopefully, this will be addressed when the checkout is rewritten.

They are not in a hurry to advertise the fact when you’re buy the cart…
