No images work!

I just loaded the community version for testing and when I add a product with an image I get a broken image icon. I have tried all three methods to get the pics to work both image and thumb but nothing. Is there a default location I can upload these to that will work? Does the upload feature even work?

Check your permissions on the root/images folder

Have you confirmed that the file http://fpslaptops.com/images/detailed/0/X7200.jpg exists on your server?

Have you looked to see if the file does indeed exist in the folder? /images/detailed/0/X7200.jpg

Change your permission to 755 and try again. If it works, change all of your folders to 755 and files to 644.

Edit: I see rs already asked.

We’re getting close people! Now the image shows on the admin product page in the store it doesn’t show exept for the enlarge view. Any more suggestions?

Clear your cache.

Stu

Ok clearing the cache did nothing but… I found that the CSC didn’t create the folders for the images that matches the size of the images you set in the thumbnail settings, for example:

http://fpslaptops.com/images/thumbnails/0/120/X7200.jpg

The red folder had to be manually created by me and I still have to manually upload the pictures to those folders.
