I had a request from a client, to remove all category images from their pages, but keep the images at the category list (catalog) cause he use this on his front page.
My first thought was to tweak the code of the category page and just disable images.
But then I thought that this is a dynamic image size that I can set from the thumbnail settings in administrator. So I tried image width and height 1px and it worked like a charme.
No image at the category page by keeping the image in the category list.
Only thing to consider is that you have to put the image in the second field, not the one for large-zoom representation, cause then you get the message click to enlarge image but no image above…
Hope that this will come handy for someone who doesn’t have code skills.
